Prep High School Soccer Team Rankings

>Boys Prep Top 10 Girls Prep Top 10
The Prep Top 10 is comprised of schools in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, as well as other independent prep schools. Schools in these rankings are not eligible for the FAB 50 high school rankings because these programs either field post-grad players or compete in a league with or against teams with post-grad and/or fifth-year athletes.

1 (1) Berkshire School Sheffield, MA 9-0-0
Berkshire survived a scare last week, edging Taft 3-2.
2 (2) Northwood School Lake Placid, NY 3-0-0
Northwood was idle last week and is scheduled to face Loomis this weekend.
3 (3) South Kent School South Kent, CT 8-0-3
South Kent posted a pair of 4-2 wins last week, beating Hotchkiss and Millbrook School.
4 (4) Taft School Watertown, CT 7-1-1
Taft School ha two penalty kicks in the second half, both stopped by the Berkshire keeper in a 3-2 loss to the Prep Top 10 top-ranked team. Taft bounced back with a 7-0 win over Trinity-Pawling where four players scored their first Taft varsity goal.
5 (5) Middlesex School Concord, MA 9-0-1
Anyolo Makatiani scored in the 89th minute as Middlesex escaped with a 3-2 win over Groton. Middlesex led 2-0 before Groton drew even in the second half. Makatiani finished with two goals and Josh Quirck had two assists, including one on the game-winner.

 Worcester Academy Worcester, MA 7-1-3
Worcester Academy tied Exeter last week and routed Tilton to keep its place in the Top 10. Interestingly, Exeter, with a pair of one-sided losses, also has a number of draws against ranked teams this year.

 Northfield Mount Hermon Gill, MA 7-1-2
Northfield Mount Hermon routed Avon Old Farms 5-1 last week, but settled on a scoreless draw with unranked Exeter.
8 (8) Loomis Chaffee Windsor, CT 6-2-1
Loomis' lost to Williston last week costs it several spots in this week's Top 10.

 Gateway Legacy Christian Florissant, MO 9-2-0
Gateway Legacy topped Quincy, a team that could make a run toward the Illinois state quarterfinals this year.
10 Kimball Union Academy Meriden, NH 7-0-1
KUA has slid beneath the radar this year but the real test for this team will be Wednesday against Northfield Mount Hermon.
