FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The boys fall high school season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (fall only), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Yaya Bakayoko continued his outstanding season, scored two goals and assisting on two others as MLK closed out the regular season with a 7-0 victory over Manhattan Center.

Junior standout Brendan McSorley continued his role as postseason finisher, scoring the lone goal in Delbarton's 1-0 Morris County Tournament final victory over Parsippany Hills.

Marquette cruised through the first two rounds of postseason play, beating Milwaukee Hamilton and Muskego by a combined 16-0 margin.

Connner George made sure there was no repeat, scoring in overtime to lift St. Xavier to a 3-2 victory over Louisville Collegiate in the region final. A week earlier, St. Xavier lost a large lead and fell in PKs to Collegiate.

Cooper Harmon scored twice in both of the team's wins last week, a 2-0 decision over Mountain Range and a 3-0 win over Horizon.

Daniel Watts scored five goals last week as Myers Park stayed perfect with wins over Hickory Ridge and East Mecklensburg.

Forest Hills Northern defeated East Grand Rapids 5-0 in the district final last week. The victory sends the team into the regional tournament and gives FHN the state's No. 1 ranking after a surprising loss by former state No. 1 Troy Athens.

Washington Township capped a three-win week with a 3-2 victory over Clearview in the South Jersey Coaches Association Tournament. Chad Yates had a goal and one assist.

Marist commit Dylan McDermott recorded his 12th shutout of the season as Monroe-Woodbury wrapped up regular season play with a 3-0 victory over Newburgh Free Academy.

Micah Blackburn netted three goals last week as Boulder defeated Legacy and Mountain Range. Boulder's lone loss this year is to FAB 50 No. 18 Fairview.
