50. Zidane Yanez – CF – New York City FC
DOB: 1/26/2008 | HT: 5-11 | WT: 150 | Last Year’s Ranking: N/A
The 16-year-old striker is a Chilean-American youth international, with camp appearances for both countries. He’s a talented and technical striker that can drop in and create as well as score. Being effective at the youth level is a much different proposition than MLS, though NYCFC has shown faith in him by giving him a five-year deal. He’ll be eligible to play in MLS NEXT in 2024-25, though ideally will play more for New York City FC II in the coming campaign. The upcoming season will give a better picture of his potential, as he gets more action there against a slightly higher level of competition.
