Welcome to the IMG Top 150 Spotlight, the newest Friday feature on TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Our Top 150 rankings encompassing each of the next five upcoming classes in boys and girls club soccer brings together the nation’s elite players in one handy resource. Updated multiple times throughout the year to reflect form and future prospects alike, each is crafted through in-person scouting and extensive chats with coaches across the country.

There’s a lot in that grab-bag of goodies, 1,500 of the country’s best players from 14-18 to be exact. So every week we’ll take a look at a major talking point emerging from out rankings and discuss it to clear out some of the noise. Consider this a talking points memo as we take a glimpse under the curtain at some of the best players currently coming along through our nation’s development pipeline.

So without further ado, let’s dive into our first edition. And we’re starting today with the narrowing of college soccer’s halls of power.
