The Elon University men's soccer team and head coach Chris Little announced the welcomed addition of five future student-athletes to the program on Thursday, Feb. 5. The class consists of four high school signees and one transfer.

"Delighted with our class for 2015," said Little. "I'm really excited and looking forward to the opportunity to work with the guys. It's a very talented class, but in addition to that they have tremendous character and they'll transition very smoothly into the culture of our program."

Elon's new group of high school signees Nick Adamczyk (Social Circle, Ga.), Jaiden Fortune (Bedford, England), Nicholas O'Callaghan (Winter Springs, Fla.) and Hassan Pinto (Durham, N.C.) as well as University of North Carolina transfer Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler (Cary, N.C.) are expected to suit for the Phoenix this fall.

Why Nicholas chose Elon:
"During the recruiting process, I looked mainly at three components that I felt were most important. They consisted of academics, the soccer program and the social experience the schools offered. The education that Elon offers is superb and can only be found at a handful of universities. The soccer program performs at a top level and has built an opportunistic platform that any soccer player would strive to be a part of. To add onto the push, the social experience entails great people, weather and landscape that nobody could resist. With each category pointing towards Elon, I didn't feel like I would receive the same balance or find a better fit at any other school."
