A 1-0 win on the road at UCF, combined with a loss by previous #1 Stanford to West Virginia(w) has lifted the Florida State Seminoles to #1 in our TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 64 National Ranking, updated today.

The ranking is an effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field of 64 each week, including the automatic qualifiers from every DI conference. The ranking update is posted each Monday after reviewing all results from the previous week.

Florida State also benefited from a 3-2 overtime win by its archrivals Florida, over previous #2 Duke, as it rose to #1 from its position in the previous week at #3.

There is much move movement throughout the ranking, and three new teams enter this week, including Tennessee, La Salle and Iowa.
