In the wild wild west of women’s college soccer recruiting, early commitments are the name of the game.
For the best recruits, it can mean that some of the top players in the country must make verbal commitments as freshmen and sophomores in high school – never an easy decision.
Last week’s national signing day featured some late decisions, although not every player made a last minute switch. Included in that group were four players involved with the U.S. U17 women’s national team – increasing the significance this time around.
