As the Division I soccer season rolls right along, scores of MLS Academy alumni around the country.

While the best of the best from pro academies are all electing to turn pro, plenty out there are still playing college soccer.

Below is a team-by-team look at how MLS Academy alumni fared over the past week at the Division I level.

Chicago Fire

Senior D Patrick Doody started and played 59 minutes in Indiana’s 2-1 win against Ohio State on Oct. 12.

Junior M Manny Chavez started and played 83 minutes in UIC’s 1-0 loss against Denver on Oct. 10.

Freshman M Alex Underwood came off the bench and played 29 minutes in Denver’s 1-0 win against UIC on Oct. 10.

Freshman D Grant Lillard started and played 90 minutes in Indiana’s 2-1 win against Ohio State on Oct. 12.

Senior F Tyler Engel started, played 73 minutes and scored a goal in North Carolina’s 5-0 win against Virginia Tech on Oct. 10. He also started, played 58 minutes and had an assist in a 4-0 win against Georgia State on Oct. 14.

Junior F Joey Calistri started and played 71 minutes in Northwestern’s 2-1 win against Northern Illinois on Oct. 8. He also started and played 72 minutes in a 1-0 loss against Notre Dame on Oct. 14.

Sophomore M Marcus Epps started, played 44 minutes and had an assist in South Florida’s 4-3 loss against Tulsa on Oct. 8. He also started and played 56 minutes in a 3-1 win against Cincinnati on Oct. 11.

Freshman F Jeffrey Farina came off the bench and played 45 minutes in Notre Dame’s 3-2 win against Louisville on Oct. 10. He also came off the bench and played 45 minutes in a 1-0 win against Northwestern on Oct. 10.

Senior GK Charlie Lyon started, played 90 minutes and made two saves in Marquette’s 2-0 win against St. John's on Oct. 11.

Senior M Brady Wahl started and played 90 minutes in Marquette’s 2-0 win against St. John's on Oct. 11.

Sophomore M Louis Bennett started, played 77 minutes and scored a goal in Marquette’s 2-0 win against St. John's on Oct. 11.

Freshman M Hayden Cochran came off the bench and played 64 minutes in Memphis’s 2-0 loss against SMU on Oct. 8. He also started and played 99 minutes in a 3-2 win against UCF on Oct. 11.

Chivas USA

Sophomore M Romario Lomeli came off the bench and played 31 minutes in UC Riverside’s 1-0 loss against Cal Poly on Oct. 9. He also came off the bench and played 81 minutes in a 1-1 draw against UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 11.

Sophomore M Mario Ortiz came off the bench and played 40 minutes in UC Irvine’s 1-0 win against UC Davis on Oct. 9. He also came off the bench, played 50 minutes and scored a goal in a 2-0 win against Sacramento State on Oct. 11.

Junior M Eric Gonzalez started and played 90 minutes in UC Riverside’s 1-0 loss against Cal Poly on Oct. 9. He also started and played 100 minutes in a 1-1 draw against UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 11.
