UCLA skates up to the No. 1 spot following the turmoil at the top of the rankings. The Bruins survived a scare against San Diego in the Second Round. Goalkeeper Earl Edwards made a tremendous double save early in overtime to keep the season alive for the Pac-12 powerhouse.

Notre Dame saunters into the second spot for this week. The Irish also had a close battle in the NCAA Tournament against a lively Ohio State squad on Sunday. Syracuse moves into the No. 3 spot following its win over Penn State.

North Carolina makes the big jump to No. 4 this week. The Tar Heels are on a stellar run right now, which is perfect timing for the ACC outfit. UNC beat Charlotte on Sunday on the road to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
