The list is in last-name alphabetical order, starting with any newcomers breaking into the top ten.

Mitch Budler, Akron (Newcomer)

Budler breaks into the leaderboard thanks to an incredible start to the season, where Akron is yet to concede a goal despite playing four teams that have been nationally ranked at one point or another. The reigning Big East goalkeeper of the year has so far proven he may be the best in the country.

Noah De Blasis, Louisville (Newcomer)

Speaking of an incredible defensive standing, the Louisville Cardinals have yet to concede through five games, and De Blasis, a sophomore center back, has been a revelation. The Canadian defender has played all 450 minutes and has been a threat on set pieces, scoring one and assisting three with his towering 6-foot-3 frame. His performances have helped the team rise from unranked to No. 4, positioning it as a potential College Cup contender.

Marius Stenner, Delaware (Newcomer)

Another sophomore breaking into the leaderboard is Stenner, a lethal forward for the Delaware Blue Hens. The team is 5-0 for the first time since 2014, and the Danish striker has been at the core, scoring in four of the five matches to accumulate six goals. This is in continuation of a stellar freshman year, during which the CAA Rookie of the Year scored nine goals to earn a long list of postseason awards.

Palmer Ault, Indiana

The Hoosiers played two games over the past week, and Ault assisted on the winner that defeated Notre Dame 1-0.

Marcus Caldeira, West Virginia

A goal and an assist to help defeat No. 23 George Mason moved Caldeira to an incredible four goals and four assists through five games.

Enzo Dovlo, UNC Greensboro

The Spartans played once, and Dovlo made the most of it with two assists to defeat Dayton in a 4-3 thriller.

Ransford Gyan, Clemson

Gyan earned Player of the Week honors for his two goals and one assist to defeat No. 12 Pittsburgh.

Maximilian Kissel, Vermont

Goals versus Lehigh and Dartmouth moved Kissel to a three-game scoring streak.

Donavan Phillip, NC State

The Wolfpack played just once during the week, a 0-0 draw with North Carolina.

Noe Uwimana, Virginia Tech

The Hokies continue to thrive despite their loaded schedule as Uwimana played all 180 possible minutes in draws with No. 24 Virginia and No. 9 Furman.
