TDS Women's Division I Top 25: Sept. 20
September 20, 2021
It's beginning to look like Duke can be counted among the contenders in 2021.
The Blue Devils picked up a massive win over the weekend, defeating North Carolina by a 1-0 score. A Tess Boade goal in the 55th minute provided the winner, as Duke beat Carolina for the first time since 2015.
With the win, Duke moves to No. 3 in the TDS Women's Division I Top 25, which is updated today. The Blue Devils sit behind Florida State and UCLA, which maintained unbeaten starts to the season last week.
SEC surgers LSU moved up, winning an eighth straight game to start the season and moving to No. 6.
