Brooklyn, New York---The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers shutout their intra-borough rivals, LIU Brooklyn, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon in the Northeast Conference regular season finale.  The Terriers, who finished the 2013 regular season 10-5-1; 4-3 in conference play, clinched the #4 seed in the upcoming NEC Tournament..  LIU Brooklyn finishes 5-10-2; 2-4-1 in the Northeast Conference.

With the win, St. Francis Brooklyn posted their fourth double-digit win total under head coach Tom Giovatto.  The Terriers will take on the #1 seeded Central Connecticut on Friday, November 15th at 4:00 p.m. The semi-finals and championship match will be contested in New Britain.

The Terriers struck for two tallies in the first five minutes of the contest.  Sophomore midfielder Harry Odell tallied his second career goal in the fourth minute of the contest off a feed from junior forward Kevin Correa. The Manchester, England product was able to blast a shot on goal that beat LIU Brooklyn goalkeeper Logan Keys to give the Terriers a 1-0 advantage.

A minute later, senior forward Gabriel Bagot tallied his eighth goal of the season.  The New York native was able to receive a pass from junior defender Andy Cormack and Bagot was able to whip it past Keys to extend the Terrier lead to 2-0.  For Bagot, it was his 25th career marker.

The Terriers continued to be aggressive once play resumed in the second half as junior forward Kevin Correa tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season.  The Flushing native was able to rocket a shot after beating the LIU defense straight up the field.  For Correa, it was his 20th career goal.  Junior defender Andy Cormack was credited with his first career assist.

The final tally of the match came off the foot of senior midfielder Viktor Bakkioui in the 63rd minute.  The Halmstad, Sweden native was able to create some space and fired a shot from the right corner that trickled past Keys.

The Terriers held the Blackbirds without a shot-on target, while outshooting the home eleven, 18-8.   Binks didn't record a save but posted his sixth shutout of the season.  His counterpart, Keys, gave up the four goals and recorded a match-high four saves.
