Prior to facing the Cardinal, the California native had already earned a clean sheet on the week, stopping two attempts to help the team defeat Portland 2-0. Facing a No. 1 ranked Stanford team whose five goals per game average led the nation posed a much greater challenge, yet Nakfoor met the task, saving nine shots en route to a clean sheet 2-0 victory.
