Women's college freshmen ready for minutes
Signing day is officially shelved for another year. That means a fresh crop of top talent officially has its marching orders at the next level. Within that expansive list is a smaller contingent of players with the ability to make an impact from year one. This list takes into account those women’s players with a hopeful eye toward meaningful minutes out of the gate.
This takes into account myriad factors, from skill level to likelihood the player succeeds either in a rotation or as an out-and-out starter from day one. A lot goes into college season, and often there are factors at play beyond the player’s control. But with all that in mind, here are eight freshman for the 2014 women’s college season likely to make a deep impact.
