Women's Team of the Week: Sept. 16
Leading the team of the week is Reilly Rich, a graduate student at Stony Brook who delivered one of the best hat tricks of the season.

The Seawolves played once this week, and Rich made it count, leading a 5-3 win over Yale. She opened with a spinning finish for the first goal, then scored a long-range effort highlighted on SportsCenter. After Yale closed the gap to 4-2 with two unanswered goals, Rich sealed her hat trick by slotting a left-footed shot to the bottom corner.

Women’s Team of the Week: September 8-14
GK: Kate Plachy, St. Mary's (CA) - In the lone match of the week, Plachy was outstanding in helping the Gaels upset No. 17 Georgetown 2-0, saving six shots and adding an assist on an outrageous long-range pass.
D: Laney Rouse, Virginia - With a goal and an assist to defeat No. 4 Duke 3-1, followed by another assist in a 3-0 win over VCU, Rouse put together one of the best weeks a defender has had all year.
D: Ellie Geoffroy, Oklahoma State - The physically imposing junior defender flexed her attacking brilliance versus East Texas A&M, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 5-1 victory.
D: Naya Cardoza, Brown - Cardoza was a two-way difference maker for the Bears, scoring the lone goal to draw Hofstra 1-1, then adding two more as the team handled Central Connecticut State 4-0.
M: Brigid Duffy, Army - The senior attacker scored three to lead Army to identical 3-1 wins over North Texas and Princeton.
M: Julia Thasaphong, Oral Roberts - Little Rock had no answers for Thasaphong, who scored all three in the 3-1 Oral Roberts triumph.
M: Ally Perry, Mississippi State - Facing a No. 3-ranked Tennessee team that had yet to concede all season was no problem for Perry, who assisted one and scored twice, including an 89th-minute winner, to give Mississippi State the upset victory.
M: Caroline Penner, Seattle - Penner delivered three goals and one assist to help Seattle defeat UNLV 4-0 and draw Cal Poly 3-3.
F: Reilly Rich, Stony Brook – Rich's hat trick led the Seawolves to a 5-3 win over Yale.
F: Amelia Jacobs, Jacksonville State - With a hat trick versus Alabama State, plus another goal and assist against Mercer, Jacobs showed her attacking brilliance to lead the team to two victories.
F: Hedda Ornberg, South Florida – Ornberg scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Temple, then added two and an assist in a 6-0 rout of Grambling State.
