Like many other recruits to go down that route, Kailee Coonan’s college ambitions centered around the opportunity to play in a particular conference.

“One of the main reasons I chose Syracuse was because I really wanted to play in the ACC,” she told TopDrawerSoccer.com. “The fact that Syracuse is new to the ACC made it really appealing to me because I think Syracuse is a growing program. I watched the team play in the fall and then again at the beginning of spring and I think that Phil, Neel, and Kelly are doing a great job with developing the team.”
