HS: Fall state, regional rankings, Oct. 29
Houston (Tenn.) and Carmel (Ind.), the preseason FAB 50 girls No. 1 and 2 teams, respectively, delivered state titles just hours apart Saturday evening to make good on what was a promising forecast.
While neither will finish atop the FAB 50 this season, both will end with high rankings by the time the season draws to a close.
Portland Jesuit (Ore.) is still cruising along at FAB 50 No. 1 for the girls.
On the guys side, D.C., Indiana, Montana, North Carolina and Pennsylvania all have new state No. 1s this week. Despite the number of state upsets, there are no regional No. 1 changes this week.
Now, on with the champions and rankings ...
