Stanford #1; Taylor Player of the Week
November 28, 2011
Stanford remains the #1 team in the nation after its overtime NCAA Tournament quarterfinal win against Oklahoma State on Friday. Paul Ratcliffe’s undefeated Cardinal squad continues to be the favorite to bring home the top prize, the only thing missing from its accomplishment list after an incredible run of success over the past four seasons.
Also, Lindsay Taylor is our Player of the Week, headlining the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week following her role in the Stanford win on the weekend. Taylor scored a winner in overtime to lift the Cardinal over Oklahoma State and help the squad advance to the national semifinals.
